Myra's Indian Restaurant , Singapore Review

As you guys know its been almost 5 months since we moved to Singapore and in our free time we try to explore as many new areas as possible. Whenever we wanted to have Indian food we usually head to Little India, and it is either Kailash Parbat or MTR that we eventually turn to, depending on whether we wanted to eat North Indian or South Indian. For a while now we have been wanting to try something different.

So it was my hubby's birthday in December and we decided to go to Myra's , a place that served North Indian and Mexican ( a combination that I am hearing for the first time ). My hubby had visited it earlier with his office colleagues and he has been raving about the food ever since.

As earlier mentioned Myra's serves dishes inspired by North Indian and Mexican cuisines and you would find most of the usual suspects that you would typically find in any stand alone North Indian or Mexican Restaurant.

Myra's at Stadium is located approx 7- 10 minutes walk away from the Stadium MRT station ( one of the stations on the Circle Line ). The walk from the MRT station to the restaurant is very picturesque and we could not but wait to click some photos.

The restaurant has both inside and outside seating. The interiors of the restaurant are contemporary styled while the exterior is open air and is waterfront. Wherever you decide to sit you cannot go wrong, as both the places are nice. If the weather is pleasant and if it is not raining you can prefer outside.

Dishes not to miss

Since I am a vegetarian, I am recommending the 3 vegetarian dishes that are a must try at Myra's :

  • The Nachos -  Probably the best Nachos that I have ever had
  • Samosas - They prepare it fresh and its really crispy and the potato filling inside is to die for.
  • Tandoori Paneer - Another of my favorite dishes that did not disappoint.

Damage to your wallet

When we had finalized to go to Myra's, we searched if some offers were available online for the same in Groupon. There was an offer in Groupon to pay SGD 22 for a SGD 50 cash voucher and we took it. So for two of us it cost SGD 80 , but since we had purchased this voucher the total bill was SGD 52.

Note : The voucher is not valid for alcoholic beverages and for dinner. But we still think lunch is a better option at Myra's as the ambiance is better in the afternoons.

It is a good restaurant that serves tasty North Indian & Mexican cuisine and it is better to go in the afternoons on weekends to have a relaxed lunch.
